Jane and her daughter Beth are caught in a snow storm during a hike in the month of September. Making their slow descent along the icy trail to get down off the mountain to safety before darkness creeps in. Fog winding its fingers through the forest. Scared they will be stranded on the mountain, wild animals in the night. But something far more dangerous materializes out of the trees. Something sinister advancing through the fog. Set in the rugged, breathtaking landscape of British Columbia, Canada, Black Star Trail tells the story from the perspectives of seven people affected by evil events. A hike in a snowstorm, a disappearance in the same area fifteen years before that fateful day.
