A respectful, authentic, Indigenous-teacher-made educational resource to learn and teach about the TRUTH in Truth and Reconciliation. As a participant, your goal is to circle Turtle Island to collect eagle feathers before being stripped of your land, language, culture, and identity by the policies and actions of the Church and the Crown. Collect all four feathers and you are a Survivor! Created in response to the TRC Report "Calls to Action," this powerful resource guides participants as they explore iconic Canadian historical events, their impacts on Indigenous peoples and the process of colonization. The game comes with a curriculum guide book as well as an illustrated legend.
